  • User-Provided Content: When you use the AI Text Rewriter feature, we temporarily process the text and image you select, to generate rewritten versions. This text is not stored after processing unless you explicitly save it in the Extension.
  • Usage Data: We may collect data about how you interact with the Extension, such as the frequency of generating replies or rewriting text, to improve performance and user experience.
  • Technical Data: Information such as your browser type, operating system, and IP address may be collected when communicating with our backend API to ensure compatibility and security.

Note: The Extension does not access or collect data from websites other than LinkedIn and X for the purpose of generating reply suggestions, and only with your interaction.

We use the collected information to:

  • Generate AI-powered reply suggestions for LinkedIn and X posts.
  • Provide the AI Text Rewriter feature to refine your messages.

The Extension requires the following Chrome permissions to function:

  • Storage: To securely store your login token and Extension settings locally in your browser for seamless operation.
  • Host Permissions (https://api.4socials.com): To communicate with our backend API to fetch AI-generated replies and verify user authentication.

These permissions are strictly limited to the functionality described and are not used to access unrelated data or websites.

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties, except in the following cases:

  • With your explicit consent.
  • To comply with legal obligations, such as responding to lawful requests or protecting our rights.
  • With trusted service providers (e.g., cloud or analytics providers) who assist in operating the Extension, under strict confidentiality agreements. These providers do not have access to your personal data beyond what is necessary for technical purposes.
